Kids Love to Read #56 & Giveaway

Monday, August 17, 2020 BookBairn 2 Comments

That's it! August has come round and BookBainr started school! I have a lot of starting school books reviewed over on Instagram and hopefully (now she's at school and the Wee Page Turner's at nursery) I'll have some time to collate them into a full blog post. But I always make time for your posts in Kids Love to Read!

And back to this month's link-up, if you share or review children's books or are raising a reader whilst writing a blog then our co-hosted monthly linky with  Laura's Lovely BlogKids Love to Read is a link-up to share blog posts written by other bloggers that star wonderful children's books. It's a great way to find new blogs to read and new book recommendations too, as well as invite people to come and read your own blog.

So if you write about your favourite children's books I would love it if you link-up your post! And I'm looking forward to reading them all!

Laura has also set up a Pinterest Board for Kids Love to Read, where she pins everyone’s posts featured, as well as lots of lovely bookish posts. If you would like to join as a co-contributor please message me. The more the merrier!

Last Month's Favourites

My favourite post last month came from Wee Reads who reviewed a book that I immediately went out to buy - the latest Mini Rabbit from John Bond! We love Mini Rabbit so when BookBairn spotted it in the bookshop we were definitely bring it home with us and it's so much fun.

Laura's favourite came from
At Home a Lot who shared a book by Matt Haig - I've read a few of his children's books and particularly enjoyed Evie and the Animals so I'll need to look this one up!

  2. Simple songs that are included in kids' books also will pull the young reader into participating in the reading process. Older children will like to sing, while the training first words readers will mimic those familiar sounds as their language skills develop, if you want to know more visit shortstorycollections.com
