Lit Chat: An Introduction

"Books give us ways to make sense of the world, and they provide an escape from it. Books are magical."

Or so these brilliant little conversation starter cards from Book Riot say. And I tend to agree! As a book lover there's one thing I like as much as reading books and that's talking and blogging about books. So when I saw these little cards I thought they would be perfect for starting a conversation on here and on our Instagram about books! Why we love them. Why we treasure them. How we organise them!


The cards have four categories:

The Reader's Way: questions about your reading habits, preferred methods, and who you are as a reader.

Memoirs of a Book Lover: questions for sharing book-related memories and milestones.

Op-Ed: questions to tease out all your literary opinions, favourites, and least favourites.

Choose your adventure: questions that ask you to choose books and characters for hypothetical situations.

The object of the game is to have fun discussing books and being a readers together.

I hope you'll play along and have fun getting to know me even more as a reader. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
